NeuroTechNet-Funded Research Recognized by the American Institute of Physics

NeuroTechNet is proud to announce that a research project we funded has been recognized as outstanding by the American Institute of Physics. The study, titled "Bee-yond the plateau: Training QNNs with swarm algorithms," was published in The Journal of Chemical Physics in January 2025. This innovative work introduces a novel application of the Bees Optimization Algorithm to train Quantum Neural Networks (QNNs), effectively addressing the challenge of barren plateaus that impede traditional training methods. By drawing inspiration from the foraging behavior of honeybees, the research offers a nature-inspired solution to enhance the optimization landscape and robustness of QNN training.
